Hi! here we have another very late video for NaVloPoMo.

My knowledge on footbal is almost none, but I will try to be accurate.
Sporting is a footbal club in Portugal. And in the year 2000 it won the Portuguese National Cup, that victory was preceded by many years of trying to win it.
And so the party was amazing, and this pictures were taken in Lisbon on that night.

For this NaVloPoMo experiment that we are doing, I really want to learn how to do the editing and get good pace and story telling. At the same time I intend to review some of my miniDV and HDV archive and explore that as a way to try new things with these old material. Most of these tapes were solely recorded and never played…

I went and fetched one and a “half” tapes of a visit I did to Fátima Sanctuary in Portugal, I have to say that I am not catholic and so I went to see what was the scene. It was on May 13th of 2000 and on those particular days the Pope John Paul II visited the place and told the third secret of Fátima.

I want to do some movies about this trip, but today is to late and so I leave you with just this, I recorded this minutes after getting there for the first time.

Portuguese Presidential Elections in January 2006

What we see here is the Communist and Green Party Alliance (CDU) candidate, Jerónimo de Sousa, doing campaign on Chiado street, that is in downtown Lisbon.

This is my second video from that Presidential Election, the first one was about Mário Soares, the Socialist Party (PS) candidate – http://despauterio.net/2007/04/04/videoblogging-week-2007-17/ (my sole and unique video for videoblogging-week-2007).

It is like 5 mins long and tries to show you how the typical street political campaign works in Portugal.

Presidenciais Portuguesas de Janeiro de 2006

O que vemos aqui é o candidato da aliança do Partido Comunista e dos Verdes (CDU), Jerónimo de Sousa, a fazer a sua campanha na descida do Chiado, na baixa de Lisboa.

Este é o meu segundo vídeo sobre as eleições presidenciais de 2006, o primeiro era sobre o Mário Soares, o candidato do Partido Socialista (PS) – http://despauterio.net/2007/04/04/videoblogging-week-2007-17/ (foi a minha única entrada na videoblogging-week-2007).

Este pequeno filme tem cerca de 5 minutos de duração e tenta mostrar como acontece a campanha política de rua em Portugal.

Encontrei agora mesmo na última hora do Público (fonte Lusa) uma boa notícia para quem gosta de passear e viver em Lisboa.

Finalmente vamos ter um esforço, espero eu, visível para devolver a cidade às pessoas e diminuir a alarvidade de carros que invadem, ou será infestam, os passeios e onde podem…

Para “libertar os passeios de carros”
Lisboa: “tolerância zero” ao estacionamento ilegal a partir de hoje

A Câmara Municipal de Lisboa inicia hoje uma campanha para “libertar os passeios de carros”, e “contrariar o estacionamento de carros em segunda fila”, tal como prometeu António Costa na campanha eleitoral.

A câmara pretende criar uma “cidade sem barreiras” com o objectivo de que os “habitantes possam usufruir do espaço público da cidade” e libertar áreas utilizadas por viaturas, de forma abusiva e ilegal pelos automobilistas.

Neste sentido a câmara vai reforçar o policiamento, já a partir de dia 12, numa “primeira fase” desde o eixo do Campo Pequeno até ao Marquês de Pombal incluindo o Parque Eduardo VII, estendendo ainda do Largo do Rato até às avenidas Infante Santo e Dom Carlos I, informa a autarquia.

Para dar cumprimento ao reforço policial na cidade, a Polícia Municipal (PM) vai abrir um novo parque de viaturas rebocadas em Benfica, a norte do Centro Comercial Colombo, para onde transportará as viaturas em infracção, informou o comandante desta força policial, o subintendente André Gomes.

O comandante da Polícia Municipal disse à Lusa que é “necessário desimpedir vias para o tráfego fluir”, explicando que os automobilistas algumas vezes param em segunda via bloqueando o normal fluxo de trânsito.

Nas novas instalações de Benfica da PM, também irá funcionar um posto de atendimento policial, em simultâneo com o parque de viaturas rebocadas, seguindo o objectivo de “aproximar a segurança da polícia camarária aos munícipes”, esclareceu o comandante André Gomes.
