the bush pilot

I am trying to restart my blog and vlog stuff. One of the reasons behind it is because i really like to share some very good stuff that I stumble/find on the net.

In this case when I revisited Mindcaster’s vlog, I found this great great video. This video is an interview, in german with english subtitles, with the nice guy, Schlutter, that pilot’s Bush…

Enjoy every moment of it!

the relation between car traffic and mobile phones location and use

What an idea!! I confess i didn’t fully read the Slashdot article, but the idea that you can build up a cloud with location and type of use, you can off course now if the mobile is moving fast or slow, and you can correlate with historic data and traffic ways.

this seems a very good way of improving our knowledge and reaction to the problems in traffic and off course you can even build up some data for future better planning.

I think they’re idea is not so big but is certainly a step in the good way.

off course you have to be careful with the individual data, but that’s obvious.

the article talks about: to track in-use cell phones on Missouri highways and state roads in an effort to monitor traffic flow. Individual information will not be stored, they say — only the aggregate will be studied, using “sophisticated” math.
