BBC reinventada em remix appeal

a BBC mantêm esta capacidade de nos espantar e de abrir novos caminhos nos media institucionais… é engraçado ver uma empresa deste tamanho a tentar acompanhar ou reagir à presente ou futura cultura do remix da Creative Commons…

backstage.bbc.co.uk is the BBC’s new developer network, providing content feeds for anyone to build with. Alternatively, share your ideas on new ways to use BBC content. This is your BBC. We want to help you play.

Boing Boing: Indy client now available for Macs, says Ian Clarke

Ian Clarke’s blog said:

Indy is a music discovery tool that was mentioned on BoingBoing recently (Boing Boing: Indy TV). As a result of that and other attention, one of the most common requests we received was for a Mac version of the Indy client. As a result we stepped up our development effort and are now pleased to release the first version of the Indy for Macs. We hope Mac users like it 🙂

Livre Cultura já!

a propósito do primeiro aniversário da iniciativa Free Culture, (via Lawrence Lessig blog).

este tema está cada vez mais interessante, penso que se torna realmente a questão mais fundamental de todas. o direito de citação e recriação das ideias é basilar para uma sociedade mais criativa e evolutiva, em oposição a uma sociedade em que as ideias são geridas por grandes empresas e aglomerados delas impedindo-nos formalmente / legalmente de criarmos algo de novo, pois no entender legal eventualmente tudo terá um nexo.

ou como disse Sérgio Godinho (wikipedia) numa música: “isto anda tudo ligado…”
